Did you know that God isn't looking for us to be afraid of Him? He doesn't want us to worry whether we're serving him as He'd have us serve.  God wants our faith, not our worries or fears.  To "fear" the L-rd is to revere Him.  It is to honor Him and to trust Him knowing He's a good Father and not a mean demanding overlord.  Fear and worry are sins that we can run from. Here are four scriptures that can help you walk free of fear and worry. Whatever isn't of faith is sin, so let us walk by faith.  When I was saddled with fear and anxiety I would meditate (think about them and speak them to myself) on these scriptures. (Therefore submit to God, resist the devil (the adversary) and he will flee).  Because they had to leave, fear and worry are external forces and much easier to recognize and deal with.  They don't come around nearly as often and I can walk with faith and confidence much easier.  The more you exercise faith and sow towards your deliverance, the freer you will be.
Worry (is a bad guy, resist him.)
Phil 4:6-7
6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
NKJV

Luke 12:22-32
22 Then He said to His disciples, "Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat; nor about the body, what you will put on. 23 Life is more than food, and the body is more than clothing. 24 Consider the ravens, for they neither sow nor reap, which have neither storehouse nor barn; and God feeds them. Of how much more value are you than the birds? 25 And which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature? 26 If you then are not able to do the least, why are you anxious for the rest? 27 Consider the lilies, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; and yet I say to you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. 28 If then God so clothes the grass, which today is in the field and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, how much more will He clothe you, O you of little faith? 29 And do not seek what you should eat or what you should drink, nor have an anxious mind. 30 For all these things the nations of the world seek after, and your Father knows that you need these things. 31 But seek the kingdom of God, and all these things shall be added to you. 32 Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.
NKJV
Fear (is a tormentor, really resist him.)
1 John 4:18-19
18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love. 19 We love Him because He first loved us.
NKJV

Rom 8:13-15
14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. 15 For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, "Abba, Father."
NKJV
Practical Application: Meditate on Psalms 91, 1st Corinthians 13 and 1st, 2nd, and 3rd John.  Speak Psalms 91 out loud as a matter of confession as we're told in Ephesians we are filled with the Holy Spirit by speaking to ourselves in Psalms....  Meditation on the word of Love will help you get connected with God in a more stable way and will assure that fear can't get or keep a foothold or stronghold!
